Termín od 24.12.2008 – do 02.01.2009.
Poznámky: Počasie bolo ( mimo 3 dni ) slnečné. V noci silne mrzlo, do -15°C, cez deň na slniečku bolo asi +1 až +2°C. V mietach kde nefúkal vietor lietali muchy! V prvých dňoch bol Ipeľ plný ale po silných mrazoch jeho hladina klesla za 5 dní o jeden meter!
1. Ipeľské Uľany, 26.12.2008. Urobil som krátku prechádzku okolo Mlynského potoka na západ od Ipeľských Uľan. Bol som milo prekvapený kamenistým a divokým terénom okolo potoka. Bohužiaľ voda v potoku už vypadala horšie, mala sivomodrú farbu a ledva sa dal nájsť život pod kameňmi. V malom množstve som našiel kriváka potočného ( Gammarus fossarum ). Údolím potoka som sa prešiel až k „Novej lesostepy”. Objavil som po ceste ďalšie skalnaté miesta, ktoré bude treba prezkúmať.
2. Kleňany, 30.12.2009: V Kleňanoch som išiel proti prúdu potoka Galomia. V lese tento malý potok vyhĺbil strmý a hlboký kaňon s priehlbňami a vodopádmi.
